In this class, you will learn the basic skills to make glass plates, jewelry, tiles and more! We will teach you how to cut glass, and then you will learn three different procedures of Glass Fusing: Full, Tack, and Slump, and how to use one or all of these procedures to create your own works of art! Over the course of the 3 week class you will make at least 2 small projects and one medium sized project. After the class is over you may rent kiln space any time you wish to continue making pieces. For ages 16 and up.
Included in the class fee: 96 COE glass starter kit and dichroic glass sample. Other fusible accessories are available for purchase at a discounted rate. Students are required to either purchase or supply their own glass cutter and breaking pliers.
No prerequisite. You will be taught to cut glass in this class.
